But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
- 1 John 4:4

Jesus, Your Word makes it clear that in the world, there is a spiritual force at work against Your people. Help me recognize it and not fear, for You have indeed overcome the world. The battle is won, and I am so thankful to know that I belong to Your side. Amen.
