In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.
- 1 Peter 5:10

Lord Jesus, in times of trial, help me resist the enemy who prowls around seeking someone weak to devour. Thank You for Your Word that reminds me I am not alone in my suffering, and that suffering itself is a tool in Your Hands that You use to bring about steadfastness. May I be strong in spirit while I wait for suffering to pass. Amen.
