Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Lord Jesus, help me release all grudges and bitterness that hide in the dark corners of my heart. Purify my tongue that I might speak well even of my enemies, and give me a heart that's quick to forgive as Christ so readily forgave me. Amen.
