We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne.
- Hebrews 12:2

Jesus, Thank You for the amazing work You did on the cross! Your obedience to the Father was unconditional, and I rejoice that You are seated at His right hand now. Help me follow Your example and take up my own cross daily, and enjoy the fruits of true obedience. Amen.
