So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.

Gracious Lord, thank You that You long to be gracious and that You wait to show mercy. Turn my heart to wait for You, and awaken in me a trust that Your timing in all things is saturated with compassion and will bring glory to Your name.
