But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.

Father God, form in us a posture of release when we come to You in prayer. Free us from every grudge and open our hearts to forgive freely, so our fellowship with You may flourish without barrier.
