Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means 'rock'), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.
- Matthew 16:18

Father God, help me remember the holy calling that You place on Your people. Make me worthy of the tasks You set before me, and let my life be no stumbling block, but one that brings honor to Your Name. Though I will fall at times, help me be like Peter and rise to continue the good fight. Amen.
